Founded in 1999 in Nanaimo, BC. Frontside has since expanded into Duncan in 2009. The stores are locally island owned and operated, and offer Vancouver Island lifestyle, skate, snow, and surf clothing and accessories.

The stores consist of apparel, footwear, sunglasses, watches, sandals, skateboards, jackets and headwear, and much more. Both stores are approximately 2000ft² of retail space, giving use the unique ability to offer something for EVERYONE in the family. Both young and old and features a huge free-standing footwear wall.
